Hotel building site has closed pavement so pedestrians must use four crossings rather than two to get across from St Paul's to Easton

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction category by Sophie Cooper at 09:05, Thu 8 October 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Because the pavement is closed pedestrians cannot cross over the end of they M32 in two steps. Instead four parts of road must be closed. This creates more risk to pedestrians as the cars coming off the motorway see the area as car priority/right of way.

Additionally cars in one lane stopping before the yellow box can lead to pedestrians misinterpreting that the traffic has stopped.
