25in x 15in pot hole forming around water access cover in right hand track just prior to the traffic lights

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway Defect category by Simon Hefford at 17:35, Saturday 10 October 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

This has been forming now for several weeks and at least a month and the area around the water access cover has been degrading further and further, cars are having to swerve to avoid as it is located deep inside the right hand track which is also a very deep depression so the water cover and surround cannot be seen until the last minute. For a motorcyclist which I am it’s even worse and when hit there is good chance of damage being caused to tyres and or rims. I have been lucky that as far as I can tell at this time my wheels are ok although from previous experience I know sometimes it is not apparent until the tyre is removed.
