Our tyre was damaged in this pothole on Morley Road at dusk on 27/10/20, on the Way to Lidl on Muller Road. We needed to get Green Flag out to replace the wheel with our space-saver wheel in the Lidl car park so that we could get back home.
The following day, 28/10/20, we had to pay our local garage, Redland Autos, to replace the full-sized wheel, with a new tyre, at a cost of £108.
I then returned to photograph the pothole. It has since had white lines painted around it, but these were not there when the incident happened so at nightfall it was impossible to see.
As I can only attach 3 photos, I am unable to send specific close-up photos of the pothole itself. However, you are aware of the scale of the problem.
I wish to claim the cost of the new tyre back from the Council and ask that you contact me regarding this.
Regards,
Sandra Veziano, 34 Waverley Road, Redland (Cotham), BS6 6EX.
