Tree - Serious Hazzard

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 15:49, Tue 27 October 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2359722.

Hello,

We have had constant issues with the tree outside our building for 10 years now.

(Workout Bristol, Brewery Court, North Street, BS3 1JS)

We run a very busy gym with over 3000 members and the pathway outside our building is extremely busy with general public, school kids and our members.

I have lost count of the amount of members and schools kids that we have had to attend too due to tripping over on the pathway by this tree. We also have a number of blind members that use the club and this tree causes havoc for them.. so much so that we need to guide them past it every other day.

Another school kid was taking to A&E last week due to twisting her ankle on the pathway here.

In addition to this we have endless problems in the Winter with the branches falling from this tree and on top of our building, causing damage to our roof because the tree completely over hangs our building.

I would like to request permission to have this tree removed to avoid another 10 years of dealing with injuries and building damage... I am happy to pay for the removal costs myself.

Many Thanks Craig Stevens
