Large pothole in middle of carriageway opposite 16 Ashgrove Road
Reported via desktop in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 06:59, Sat 7 November 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2374923.
This pothole has been patched a number of times and resulted originally from extensive work carried out on the sewage/water pipe network below. The road surface sank and the hole requires more than a quick fill. The matter below it clearly needs looking at for subsidence. I have watched cyclists wobble dangerously as they hit or avoid it. It is located near two dangerous blind corners with Westfield Park and Hampton Road.
