Huge chunks of concrete missing from road outside construction site
Reported via mobile in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 08:40, Sun 8 November 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2376185.
Huge chunks of concrete have been ripped up making a hole so deep it’s leaving dangerously high ridges exposed in the road. So substantial it blew my tyres on impact when travelling at 18mph. Just outside of school construction site by pedestrian crossing Hole has been there for months & getting worse every week. there are more chunks missing further up the road too. This cost me 153 pounds for an AA callout & to repair my vehicle, however if it was a cyclist could have been a very serious injury caused Local residents were out campaigning to get the potholes repaired shortly after my accident as shaldon road is to be resurfaced but stopping before this hole is reached.
