The inspection cover has been completely demolished leaving a large hole in the pavement. It should have a temporary cover put over it at least as it is really dangerous. Been there for about a week possibly.

To back this up, it is a large BT type chamber and two of the three covers have collapsed. Somebody has placed three scruffy and mismatched cones along three of the four sides, so probably a private citizen rather than any official body. The hole is in the middle of the footway and to get past on the offside involves walking on on the sodden grass area which is covered in slippery leaves, as is what remains of the footway on that side. It is fortunately in a well lit area but presents a serious hazard to anyone with any form of mobility impairment, especially any partially sighted person who could be using the adjacent bus stop. I first observed this five days ago and mistakenly assumed that such a serious problem would be dealt with within hours. You have the location. You have photographs. The original reporter has identified the temporary solution. No further investigation on your part is required. Get on with it.
