Metered parking bays were removed but sign still there
Reported via desktop in the Road Signage category anonymously at 14:25, Sun 29 November 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2410248.
A row of ten houses with off-road parking were recently built on Newfoundland Rd., and accordingly the metered parking bays in front of some of them were removed (presumably by the council?). However, the bays were not replaced with yellow lines, and the sign on the lamppost outside 215 still advertises the spaces for metered parking - meaning that the occupants of the houses can be blocked from their own properties. The lamppost sign, at least, should be removed, and double yellow lines considered.
