Gulley drain is still blocked - constant smell of sewage water! This is becoming a huge concern to local residents as well as business owners. We run a food business on the corner of Richmond Road/Church Road which is being impacted by this ongoing issue, we constantly have customers complaining to us when they are queuing outside. We’re constantly waiting on updates from the council and this doesn’t seem to be at the top of the priority list!

When calling Bristol City Council, the automated system says "The best place to find information regarding your concern is BCC website", but yet there is no information on here regarding this long term and ongoing issue, and is never updated by BCC. So how do we find out what is happening with this??? Please can we have an urgent update!!! The constant smell and pouring of dirty water out into the street from number 286 Church Road is disgusting and can only be described as sewage.

The above update where "A job has been raised with contractors and appropriate repairs or maintenance will be undertaken as soon as they can. Posted by Bristol City Council at 10:49, Wednesday" Was already mentioned back in December 2020! "A job has been raised with our contractors to action this issue and appropriate repairs or maintenance will be undertaken as soon as they can. Posted by Bristol City Council at 12:46, Thu 24 December 2020"
Surely it doesn't take 3 months book in and clear a blocked Storm Drain on the corner of the street???

When will this be fixed???
Bristol City Council have already said on several occasions that "A job has been raised with our contractors to action this issue and appropriate repairs or maintenance will be undertaken as soon as they can." But yet still NOTHING has been done about this.
How many months does it take to book a contractor in and for them to fix this???
