Dangerous to cyclists!!

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 23:19, Mon 7 December 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

I cycled over this huge hole in the road on Monday 18 Nov (evening), it was dark and raining and it was very lucky that I didn't fall off my bike into the traffic. This is so dangerous to cyclists and a terrible accident waiting to happen. As a result I had a flat tyre (see photo) and had to walk my bike all the way home (an hr) in the dark! I had a puncture, broken spoke and torn tyre (both had to be replaced). I hope this issue is now being dealt with. I noticed last time I cycled past it hadn't been fixed (see photo). I hope there are plans to address the problem quickly, before a bad accident happens. Please let me know who to contact to be reimbursed for the work on my bike and to take this matter further. I have the receipt for the work, which was done on 19 November at Trek Bikes (Bristol). I look forward to a response shortly.
