Road closed signs

Whilst this may not be the councils fault directly.... If closing a road - please put the closed road signs at the start of the road and not actually at the site of the works. Whilst i'm sure who ever puts these signs out couldn't be bothered to walk to the end of the road. It isn't very helpful once committed to the road only to come across the "road closed" sign at the actual site of works!
A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.

Um, no. The "Road Closed" signs go at the point OF the road closure. "Road Ahead Closed" are the signs for giving warning of the closure in advance of the location of the closure.
