Drains near Polish Church out of order

Reported via desktop in the Gully/Drainage category anonymously at 14:57, Fri 11 December 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

These drains do not drain adequately resulting in the road flooding with each downpour of rain. This has been reported repeatedly. It is clear that the channel carrying water from the drain is blocked. More than the usual gulley-sucking operation is required. This is a failure on the part of the BCC people concerned.

  • As of 3rd May this is still a problem. Despite the council saying a job has been raised with contractors, they are either incompetent or liars. This remains a dangerous junction for cyclists when it rains and has been for over 5 years.

  • Flabbergasted but sadly not surprised to see this problem is yet to be fixed. The country is getting on top of Coronavirus but BCC continues to flounder with managing this surface water drainage problem which predates Coronavirus.
