Poorly filled pothole on Backfields
Reported via mobile in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 13:32, Mon 14 December 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2431288.
This pothole has been progressively getting worse over the last few weeks due to the constant heavy plant machinery being used on this cobbled street. The pothole got to be about 2 feet wide and 1 foot deep making it difficult to avoid on this narrow street, at which point it has been poorly filled (presumably by the contractors on site) with tarmac. This happened around a week ago and the tarmac filling is already sinking into the pothole. The road should be properly repaired to retain the cobbles on this historic street, not just filled with tarmac.
