This might not be the best place to raise this but this street light has been off at the night for the last few months and our flat (on the closest corner of paxton drive) has been nice and dark at night. Note the street light is back on and shining through our windows, decreasing our ability to sleep and sense of privacy. Any chance it can go back to being off at night?

Hi, the light really should be on. It’s had a detrimental effect on the ability to see the road. Also note that the carriageway was built before the flats were constructed. May I suggest, as a concerned resident that you use blackout blinds? Moreover, whats the point having the light off at night, this is when it needs to be on? Thanks

I understand your concern, but there are two other bright Street lamps that cover the same stretch of road. It looked to me well lit even without the lamp in question. We already have blackout blinds, but to have them down an evening feels like living in a box, and unfortunately they are 100% flush with the window frame, light will always leak in while the lamp is on.
