Continued flooding, danger to pedestrians

Reported via desktop in the Flooding category anonymously at 16:05, Fri 18 December 2020

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2438345.

This puddling issue is years old and keeps getting reported as fixed, when it has never been fixed, and so I feel compelled to keep reporting it.

It's not a blocked gully, it's a gully in the wrong place, providing inadequate drainage for water runoff down South Road. Water puddles right across the crossing desire line meaning pedestrians often end up walking into cars' paths at the roundabout, as they avoid the large and deep puddle.

This roundabout already has a history of traffic incidents. When the proposed works are carried out to improve safety for cyclists and pedestrians at this roundabout, better drainage should be installed to prevent this amount of puddling, which occurs every time it rains. Until then, it cannot be categorised as fixed, can it?
