Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
Rubbish dumped the length of Lawrence Weston Road from Merebank Road as far as the M49 underpass. Some of the rubbish has found its way into the drainage channel.
Yep... This lane has been used for fly tipping for well over 10 years and yet nothing gets done to prevent it. The same thing happens over and over all year every year. The other end of the road near Atwood Drive has locking/droppable bollards, so they should be installed at the Merebank road entrance to prevent access to unauthorised vehicles. The only people that drive up here are to ride motorcycles and contribute to the littering (the field with the track is full of dumped rubbish), or household clearance" flat-bed vans to dump their rubbish along the lane and in the waterways.
This lane is home to an endangered species, the European water vole, yet nothing is done to protect the habitat.
