Huge depression across both carriageways
Reported via desktop in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 17:21, Fri 18 December 2020
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2438478.
Reference 2417427 - at the beginning of the bridge (outbound) there is a huge depression across both carriageways - it is now so deep that you can see scrape marks where vehicles have ‘bottomed out’ - goodness knows what it’s done to the vehicles - you have to approach this depression slowly now and if you don’t know it’s there it must be quite a shock when you go down into it - outbound is worse than inbound - this was first reported to you back in the summer of 2020 and has been continually raised since then - I don’t know where you’re looking when you go out to investigate but it’s unmissable and needs repairing urgently before someone loses control of their vehicle - emergency vehicles approaching at speed must have an awful time
