  • I’m not sure if this is exactly the same pothole, but this one is also right outside of the entrance to the hospital. I hit this this evening and the impact was so hard that my dash am recorded it as if it were a collision impact. In addition to possibly having damaged my wheel and wheel alignment, it could easily cause serious injury to a cyclist. This is right outside of the hospital and needs urgent attention!

  • From Simon Wood - Director of Estates & Facilities at Southmead Hospital. Can you please take some urgent action on this pot hole. It is in a seriously dangerous state and place for cyclists. Cars turning in to the Hospital are taking sudden avoiding action creating a further hazard and Ambulances with sick patients within are bumping down it as it is on their turn line. Please make a temporary repair urgently and plan a permanent fix ASAP. Thank you

  • I have just driven past on the opposite side and it's definitely bigger than when I reported it in December. The temporary fix didn't last long and a proper repair really needs to be actioned as soon as possible.

  • Didn’t know you could do this until today. This hasn’t been repaired and I went through this Saturday 16th January at 1930 and it blew my tyre. When taking photos at the site, so many cars went through the pothole and you could hear the bad clunk each time. I’m sure many cars have been damaged because of this

  • Fix this lethal pothole. If a bike hits this at speed you are going to have a death on your hands. My wife has just had a flat tyre on the motorway after encountering this beast. This will be affecting broken NHS staff and maybe ambulances, just sort it out ASAP.

  • I've gone through this today and has made my new Type R front tyre flat after a shocking bang, so the council will have to respond to the expensive bill. This is the entrance of a very busy hospital and hasn't been fixed yet even though this was first reported back in December. This is the last thing you need when you are going to hospital for a COVID test.
