Dangerously uneven road surface - accident caused.
Reported via desktop in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 22:46, Sun 3 January 2021
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2459584.
The change in uneven surfaces on this road caused my accident, which resulted in a visit to A&E. My bike hit the uneven surface and I was thrown onto the road. I have sustained facial injuries which had to be treated. The road surface change in height are dangerous. I stopped at the temp traffic lights and had to give way to cars behind and then hit the 3 inch road surface difference and came off. I normally avoid this road on the bike as it is so dangerous and has been for so long. This needs to be addressed now, I was lucky not have fallen in front of a car.

This issue has been under investigation for over 3 months now but it is obvious that large sections of the road metalling need to be replaced on both sides, as it appears to have been completely removed

Massive pot hole/crater. Very dangerous especially considering how many learner drivers go down that rd.
