Improved signage needed for one way street to stop drivers frequently going in the wrong direction

Reported via desktop in the Road Signage category anonymously at 19:13, Thu 7 January 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Calcott Road is one way from the Wells Road to the junction with Bayham Road. There is an increase in vehicles driving up the wrong way from the junction of Calcott and Bayham Road. Although signage and layout seem clear to most drivers some genuinely seem to make a mistake but there are others who definitely ignore it! Could signs indicating direction of traffic flow/no entry be made clearer or put lower down to ensure that drivers can see them clearly and have no doubt. This includes heavy goods vehicles such as scaffolding lorries. Some drive up and reverse down and some reverse up. Could be a serious accident if this continues.
