Pavement on Dingle Road Bridge obstructed by vegetation, soil and leaf mould
Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category by W J Hall at 14:19, Mon 11 January 2021
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2472179.
Pavement on Dingle Road Bridge obstructed by vegetation, soil and leaf mould. The problem of general soil encroachment has been reported several times over the years, but without corrective action. Even leaf sweeping now seems to have been abandoned, with the pavement full width covered in leaf mould in places. In others the area available for foot passengers has been reduced to less than 500 mm, with at least 800 mm of tarmace covered by soil and plant growth.

The rotting leaves on the pavements on both sides of the road have still not been cleared, making it very slippery underfoot.
