Dangerous loose grit all over St Agnes Avenu, Redcatch Road and junctions
Reported via mobile in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 13:56, Tue 12 January 2021
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2473926.
Following road resurfacing in 2020 (with coarse aggregate, making car traffic unnecessarily noisy, and probably causing excessive tyre wear and micro particles), dangerous loose grit is still all over St Agnes Avenue, Redcatch Road and their junctions. This causes slippage to cars, bycycles and pedestrians. The grid has spilled onto pavements as well. Whichever contractor was choosen has done a shabby job. The grid has already been reported in December and nothing has been done about. This situation will cause accidents, if it has not already done so.
