Our vehicle often prevented from gaining access to the highway due to One inconsiderate neighbour parking to prevent us leaving our driveway/hardstanding

Reported via desktop in the Car parking category anonymously at 14:34, Mon 18 January 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2485866.

Our neighbour parks his vehicle to cause us alarm, distress and inconvenience. He is abusive when we ask him to move. He parks to prevent us driving from our driveway to join the road. He is parked on a public road (Langham road) across his property, but not actually on his property. For years this was NOT a parking place, it’s a ‘dead end’ turning place for other vehicles which now have a problem turning around. Also he makes it difficult and dangerous for dustbin lorries, people using the lane both by vehicle and on foot. There is nearby street parking, he does not have to park in this ‘unofficial’ space which he has adopted for his use. It should be kept clear for all road users. We have put up signs asking for the area to be kept clear and for him to be considerate as we are key workers needing our vehicle 24/7 but these have been ignored by this one individual.
