2 V. large potholes by the traffic lights when waiting to turn right onto New Town Lane, from Bath Road heading from Bristol to Bath direction.

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 15:22, Monday 25 January 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

These have been here for more than 2 months, maybe 4 months, and have become increasingly bigger and deeper. You have to move left into the left lane of traffic at the lights to avoid a sunken manhole/drain cover and defective tarmac, and then pull hard right as you turn heading into New Town Lane (as if you want the Tesco right hand lane traffic), in order to avoid a dangerously big and deep pothole. I do not have photos since this is an impossible junction to take any being incredibly busy during the day.
