DYL 1m too short due to car being parked when lines were painted

Reported via desktop in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 15:01, Friday 29 January 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Location: The Hampton Park end of Auburn Road. The photo shows that due to a car being parked (no prior notice of the line marking was provided) the lines which were painted on 28/01/2021 could not continue to the correct point. This could result in lack of visibility when leaving the garage and an accident could occur as a result. I propose that prior notice be provided to residents in order that the car can be moved or the area coned off the day before the crew will return, in order that there is sufficient room to complete the painting of the DYL.
