  • There are 3 blocked drains on Ashley road. One by the junction of Brook Road and Ashley road, one next to it, nearer the main lights in Sussex place direction, one in Brook lane behind Ashley road and they have been blocked for 6 years and Nothing has been done. I have reported it 3 times.

This is the 2nd time I have reported this. I even received an email update from FixMyStreet incorrectly stating it had been fixed and the case is now closed. NOTHING has been fixed! There is a primary school on my road meaning that every parent and child has to risk being soaked head to foot just walking to school. Yes the school is open during lockdown. This is a very long standing problem, the drains have been blocked for many years. Sort it out please, show the residents some respect.

  • Although no current flooding, only just dried out from last lot of rain a couple of weeks ago. There are two gullies that are filled with mud/sediment so no water storage and this delays the soakaway. Corner of Brook & Ashley and another outside No.137 Ashley Rd. Thanks
