Several manhole covers dropped
Reported via desktop in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 13:01, Mon 1 February 2021
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2516129.
I have reported this problem before. the whole stretch of road between Beaconsfield road and Marston road is full of dropped manhole covers and uneven roadsurface. The lorries going over this all day and night make the most horrendous noise which sounds like bombs going off, It is impossible to sleep through the night without being woken by it. When the road was resurfaced loose chippings were used which leave an uneven road surface after heavy vehicles go over it. Please could you send someone out to assess the noise it is unbearable thank you so much

The contractors have resurfaced one side of the road between beaconsfield and marston but it is the other side that causes the terrible lorry shake and horrendous noise due to uneven surface and dropped ironwork.
