Ref 2347690 - vehicle grounding due to sunken vehicular access crossing
Reported via desktop in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 13:45, Tue 2 February 2021
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
This issue was closed with no resolution so this is a reminder that as I have now informed you that my car is grounding on accessing my property over the footway crossing and as you are now aware of the issue you have no section 58 defence for any claim resulting from the condition of the highway. I would also like to question if your inspection code of practice considers standing water to be a safety defect.
A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.
