Flooding on Cheltenham Rd at junction with Arley Hill
Reported via desktop in the Flooding category anonymously at 19:16, Tue 2 February 2021
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2520185.
The whole lefthand cycle lane and car lane keep getting flooded. This has been happening for many years, despite the council saying the problem is fixed.
This makes cycling through the lights at the junction much more dangerous as you need to move into the middle of the road to avoid the flooding.

I’ve just looked through the old reports on this site. The flooding at this junction was first mentioned in Jan 2018. So for over 3 years Bristol City Council raise an enquiry for this problem and report it to contractors and yet nothing has been done about it. I know this problem has existed for far longer and it doesn’t take a lot of rain to cause it.
Please provide an update as to what corrective work has been undertaken here during the last 3 years. If any has been done it would be interesting to know how much money has been wasted as the problem hasn’t been resolved.
