Cycle rumble strips poorly installed and now causing hazard
Reported via desktop in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 12:53, Thu 4 February 2021
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
The rumble strips which run across the cycle path were poorly installed and not properly grouted. The grout has washed away in many places and left large gaps. My son injured himself this morning when his scooter wheel caught in a hole and he fell forwards. Please check all rumble strips; this is very dangerous to young path users. This has been getting steadily worse since they were installed.
