Large deep pot hole.
This evening I drove over a pot hole opposite the boy thekla resulting in cracking my rear alloy on my bmw LJ57VJY, this has resulted in me being stranded with a flat tyre until recovery assisted. Please can you tell me which route to take in regards to claiming for the damage to my vehicle. Many thanks. Mitch Clark

At approximately 19.45 on 08/02/21, I drove over a deep pothole on ‘The Grove’ in my BMW 1 Series, registration S555 GUL. The pothole is in the middle of the road, in a prime position to catch drivers’ side wheels. I’ve had to abandon my car as the damage caused by the impact has rendered it not drivable. I’m no mechanic, but the wheel arch is now sitting on the front right tyre causing a horrendous noise and producing thick smoke and a burning rubber smell as the tyre rubs on the arch. I will now have to arrange for recovery of the vehicle to a garage for repair.
