No school entrance Zig Zags
Reported via desktop in the General Highways Enquiry category anonymously at 14:26, Tue 9 February 2021
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2536030.
Rear entrance to school, now heavily used due to Covid restrictions. Cars are parking along and on pavements impairing view of parents and children as they arrive and leave. There is a dropped kerb but cars are still apparently exceeding the 20mph limit and parking on or over the dropped kerb. A Street Improvement request has already been submitted but as a school entrance should the zig zags lines be in place already? Thanks

As a resident we were told that the rear entrance to St John’s school would be a temporary entrance whilst Clovid regulations were in place. And also that parents would be unable to bring there cars and park on Shrubbery Cottages as it is so narrow. And unfortunately as it may be some parking on pavements is needed to allow emergency access and refuse lorries through .
