Double yellow road markings missing
Reported via desktop in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 18:35, Wednesday 10 February 2021
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
This road was resurfaced 8 months ago and the lines have not been replaced. Only parts of the double yellow lines have been remarked recently but not fully. Cars are parking there as they think they are allowed, however they are blocking the pavement and causing traffic obstructions near the traffic lights. The double yellow lines should lead from the traffic lights at the end of Sommerville Road all the way around the corner onto North Road (on the right side when heading east). Cars should be warned not to park there ahead of remarking to ensure the road is clear and be removed if they persist to park illegally. This is what they did when resurfacing the road.
A new enquiry has been raised for this issue.
