White Shogun completely blocks view from junction

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2552411.

A white Shogun vehicle parks in this spot on the junction every day for the past few months, meaning that cars exiting Valley Road onto Bishopsworth Road have no visibility whatsoever when trying to turn either left or right. This has caused repeatedly dangerous pull outs onto a busy road and today caused a very near miss with a car having to swerve across the road. As a pregnant mother, I feel the parking of cars blocking this junction means that we are put at risk of a car crash everyday.

  • I've have multiple unsafe manoeuvre pulling out of Valley Road onto Bishopsworth Road as there is no visibility whatsoever, when turning either left or right.

    This is all due to people parking illegally too close to the junction. I am concerned that this will leads to an accident.

  • I cycle from this junction everyday and feel unsafe pulling out onto Bishopsworth Road on my bike. People travel very fast even though its a 20.
