Large depression in road adjacent to 58 and 59 Cottrell Road

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway Defect category by Luke Champion at 21:35, Sat 27 February 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

I reported this problem in 2018 and unfortunately the issue was not deemed to require any action. The depression in the road is adjacent to the kerb of 58 and 59 Cottrell Road. It is still causing a problem with our car underbody sustaining frequent abrasion damage. To limit the damage to our vehicles, I have filled the dip with hand compacted loose MOT Type 1. This is not a sustainable solution and I would really appreciate it if the road defect could be fixed by proper excavation of the sub-base in the road and re-laying the tarmac. There are several other properties in the street which have had this corrective work carried out in the last 10 years.
