This is a total hazard.

This surfacing is not appropriate for the road. It is more uneven than the previous surface. The surface previously had cracks but no evidence of other wear or dips.

This is dangerous for cyclists who cut through this road. Together with a high number of wheel chair users which use the road.

The surface is already breaking up and cars passing over it are spraying chunks of bitumen on to the pavements.

It is a messy job and is extremely uneven. The join with the concrete section of the road is peeling up already.

We expected better quality of surfacing than this, I have seen agricultural tracks in smoother better condition
