Cycle lane hasn't been swept for over 4 months!

Reported via mobile anonymously at 22:48, Thu 4 March 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

The cycle lane has not been swept for over 4 months, maybe as long as 7-8 months. It is now so full of gravel, diesel and dirt as to render it unusable. Can you please sweep and cleanse the lane so that it can be used again. I am totally fed up with aggressive drivers telling me to use your substandard and dangerous cycle lane when it is no longer feasible. Please can you also update your maintenance of this cycle lane to ensure it is swept on a monthly basis, or else remove it entirely and replace it with one that complies with the latest government guidelines on cycle infrastructure. These dotted line cycle lanes have now been proved to be less safe than cycling on the road, so, to be honest, I would prefer it to be removed entirely, especially as you don't seem to be able to perform basic maintenance.
