Railings in a seriously dangerous condition.

Reported via mobile in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 16:03, Saturday 6 March 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

The Gulley, Clifton, Bristol BS9 1PG (at the junction with the Portway) At this point the railings alongside the Portway pavement are completely rusted through. Yesterday I halted on my exercise bike ride and went to lean on the railing in front of me, it immediately gave way and I narrowly avoided falling approximately 40 to 50 feet to the river bank below, a fall I don't think I would have survived. I think the whole of the railings along the Portway need urgent Inspection and this section should be cordoned off. The condition of these railings are a serious immediate life threatening danger to the public. I shall phone through these details when you're offices open on Monday. K.Nohel
