Faded road markings

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2603801.

Road markings on the junction Reedley Rd and Stoke Lane) are faded,these are important as the corner used by cars means they are 'Cutting across' wrong side of road I have sent 2 'Fix my Streets'and feedback was 'Case Closed'! Can someone explain why?
