5" Deep by 24" long and 12" wide sunken pavement - Trip hazard

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 22:34, Thu 25 March 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

This damaged pavement poses a trip hazard to all pedestrians, especially to the old or blind or partially sighted people. It appears a lorry has mounted the pavement, gouging out the tarmac. Within 4 feet of this hollow the pavement is also breaking up. It would be cost effective to replace 3 square yards of pavement when carrying out the repair. Luckily, the lorry had missed the water mains access hatch! It would be appreciated by the locals if BCC could repair this soon before and accident occurs. Thank you in anticipation.
