Many potholes, a big risk to cyclists
Reported via desktop in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 17:46, Fri 26 March 2021
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2635982.
There are many potholes on the stretch of Gloucester Road leading up to the lights at Wellington Hill. They ALL need repairing not just one (which is what usually happens). This is a serious problem for cyclists and has been so for years, I know because I travel to work that way. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix them properly before someone is killed.

There are still numerous potholes in the tarmac, with wires exposed underneath. This has caused many near miss accidents between cyclists trying to avoid and cars.

There are a series of potholes in the road up to the lights, looking at the history they have been a problem for a long time. The deepest of these require cyclists to take the centre of the lane to avoid them, or risk coming off their bike - both options dangerous on this busy road.
