Refuse bin removed from Marsh Lane, request to reinstate.

Reported via mobile anonymously at 17:55, Sun 11 April 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

Previously located where the pin has been dropped on the map on Marsh Lane was a public bin. The bin must have been damaged as it has since been removed, leaving just the footprint of the bin in the pavement. This report is to request that the bin be reinstated, especially considering that the bin was previously in close proximity to three takeaways and a convenience store. Now pedestrians have nowhere to dispose of their litter to.

Updates

  • Still no new bin has been installed here. I have had to log a report to the Council recently requesting that the park be cleaned as a result of litter being scattered around, because of the lack of a bin to dispose of the litter properly within.

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • A new refuse bin has now finally been installed here.
