These unfinished parts of the pavement have been here since before we moved to the area (at least 2 years). They’re basically pot holes on the pavement. The one in the first picture goes down very deep and could easily cause someone to break their leg, smash their face / trip and cause extreme injuries if you were to accidentally walk over it and catch your foot. There are three of them, but the one closest to the new houses on Oakhill drive is extremely dangerous. Children have to walk past these to get into school, disabled people can’t get wheelchairs / electric mobility scooters past them as there’s a lamp post on the other side of the pavement, those with limited mobility with crutches would struggle to get past them. There are children running and playing around the area that could catch their foot in them. There are barriers that have been there since the start but they’re rarely up against them as kids throw them about in the road. They’ve been fixed to the fence but the kids still manage to move them. Either way the barriers can’t be a permanent fix and I’m not sure why it’s not been sorted yet as it’s a safety issue for the public.
