Large hole near Lombard Street/St Johns Road

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway Defect category by Philip Morris at 19:56, Mon 12 April 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

The road break-up by the manhole cover has been here, getting larger and larger by the week. I reported it to the Council via the phone, but nothing has happened

  • How much longer will it be before so called 'Contractors' repair/fill this hole ? As this is on a major bus route (24) I just wonder what damage it is doing to the suspension of the buses that drive over it every 10/15 mins. I first raised this 'Hole' on the 12 of April 2021 it is now 3rd July 2021.

Posted by Bristol City Council at 14:06, Thursday 22 April 2021 Today i8s the 27th July no progress on fixing this hole, perhaps the "contractor" referred to in the above quote (dated 22April 2021) has got lost ? I would have posted fresh photographs but the rain and my wheelchair do not mix very well
