Neighbourhood Watch want to reuse old signpost

Reported via mobile in the Road Signage category anonymously at 13:41, Thursday 15 April 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

This post was installed by the council decades ago when it was necessary to instruct residents to park on only one side of the road (to allow access for through traffic). It is no longer needed for this purpose, but is perfectly positioned to address recent issues regarding resident safety and suspicious activity. Chatsworth Road neighbourhood watch scheme would like to paint the post to protect it from further decay and attach an official Neighbourhood Watch logo sign. We are seeking permission to do this at our own cost, time and labour. Please can you provide us with a point of contact to discuss this, or provide our contact details to the relevant dept/team.
