It is the type of old-style drain that takes rainwater from household gutters in a pipe through the council owned pavement and into the road gutter directly. Weeds/dirt removed from mouth but still lots more inside. Needs to be cleared (pressure wash?) as gutters can back up and overflow in heavy rain (already checked and cleared).

Homeowner has rerouted downpipe from gutter overground to soakaway in garden. Marked as fixed.
