I believe the path through Victoria Square (Clifton) is a public footpath and cyclists are not allowed to use it. I see many go through at high speed every day, narrowly missing children and dogs running around the park. They seem to think it is a cycle path and often ring their bells and make people move out of the way. Cyclists can easily go around either side of the square, using the road. What is needed are signs painted on the ground at either end of the footpath and maybe in the middle, to remind cyclists they should not be using the path when mounted on their bicycles.
