Depression in road due to poor repair

Reported via desktop in the Carriageway Defect category anonymously at 16:41, Sun 25 April 2021

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later

There was a hole dug a while ago in the cycle lane on Whitehall Road (eastbound) at the junction with Whitehall Gardens. The reinstating was done very poorly, resulting in a significant 'dip' in the surface. Also the red of the cycle lane and the double yellow lines were not reinstated. You can see the problem at https://goo.gl/ maps/ zgACdPKrBoyp6o5y7 but it has got worse since.

  • Some white paint has been sprayed around the problem, but the road surface has still not been repaired.

When the repair is eventually done, please ensure the red cycle lane surface, cycle marking and double yellow lines are also reinstated.
