Pedestrian island blocked by bent post

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later
A few months ago someone drove a car into the old crossing beacon post in the crossing island in the middle of St John's Lane outside Bristol South End. This was fixed quickly but the 'stump' of the broken metal post has been left bent and it blocks half of the pedestrian island. If you are pushing a buggy or using a wheelchair it means half the crossing island is inaccessible, which you might not realise until you have started crossing.
