Poor parking at school drop off time

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2698787.

Poor parking causing obstruction to the road, by either parking on the side of the road, where there is no lay-by (which is much further away from the school gate) . Or by “abandoning” the vehicle on double yellow lines or mounting the curbs. This as a whole is causing a dangerous situation as drivers are having to negotiate badly parked cars and may not be giving their full attention in case of a child running out. More parking officers should be in attendance to ticket these problem drivers.
